Love, cash, apartments, real estate, furniture, gold, white gold, cars, loans, mortgage, Bankruptcy, hotels, wedding fees and recently oil are some of the marriage success determinants. I really admit that things gets worse day by day. Values are diverted to different rhythm and clear things becomes no more clear. I do not only blame the globalism in this; I blame our people, our society, and the traders community.

We really miss simplicity. It was our main virtue and it was the flavor that saturated our community in the previous decades.

Anyway, whatever I try to talk about this subject, I wont beat Mahjoob’s cartoon who can visualize words and feelings in a very unique way.

I found this video to be quite funny and surprising at the time, now while I did know that driving in Italy is known to be really BAD, I didn’t realize that Italians shared that many behaviors that we have mostly everywhere in the Arab world.

“Ma3ak bareezeh?”….. Sounds familiar?
I expect to hear this word when the fare on the taxi is lets say 1.60 JDs and the taxi driver want to save me from the mess of all the change!! but to hear this on one of the classiest 5 stars hotels in the dead sea.. now that’s a surprise!!! I don’t mean any disrespect to taxi drivers but HELLO!!! I am in a 5 stars hotel for god’s sakes! I am being charged a little more than 200$/night just for the room! The reason of my existence in this place is for me not to hear the word bareezeh!!! Please just give me all the change you got! I love my pocket full of coins, I can’t walk without hearing the sound of shlooneh and 3asharat in my pocket!! Yup dude that’s my problem!!

How come no one ever asked me if I have a dime when I get lets say $3.10 bill in the US? I don’t want to go through the 4 pockets in my pants and the 2 pockets in my jacket and the pocket in my shirt searching for the bareezeh so you’ll give me 1 JDs masek or 1/2 JD in one coin!! Just hand me all the change you got!!

Sadly, I think this is today’s trend. Nowadays, people like to hear what they want rather than what they should.

Be careful about what you read online, we should think twice before we approve anything we read on the internet. Since 1998, I think I’ve received “the hotmail users Hoax” email for more than 100 times & it is obviously still being forwarded up until now. (If you don’t forward the email to 15 of your contacts, your hotmail account will be deleted :))

Nothing is more annoying than such sales agents.
