Rare Picture for Ronaldo

07.03.06

I am not a fan of Brazil (My brother Yazeed is). Me, my Blood is Orange (I cheer for Holland) but since they are out (Unfortunately), I am cheering & cheering for FRANCE.

It is a 100% fact for any body who cheers for HOLLAND hates Brazil!

The reason behind so many people being so happy for yesterday’s France Win over Brazil is that the Pepsi Team, I mean the Brazilian Team, are infected with “Fake Superiority & Over Exteme Pride”. This pride needed to be broken because Brazil no longer played like before.
I admit that Brazil’s play was so beautiful and entertaining before, but not anymore. Even Ronaldhino plays better in Barcelona (My Best Team) than he does with Brazil.

Yesterday’s match was amazing, Zidanne/Henry/Rebera were all great.
For me, Brazil Team is a group of historical guys who were marketed by PEPSI :)

Now, Back to the original subject of this post. This picture of Ronaldo was taken whilst his visit to Palestine. I dont know when that was but I read that the Media started to blacklist him ever since that visit. I received this via a FW email today.

Fifa World Cup 2006 Predictions Contest

05.22.06

While Germany’s Fifa World Cup 2006 is getting closer, this unique world cup predictions contest from Al Ghad newspaper for all soccer fans is about to start. If you’d like to enter the contest, what you basicly need to do is make up your own Soccer dream team out of all Germany’s World Cup players that you predict will score the most goals in the upcoming world cup, where you get 4 points for every goal a Defender position player that you selected in your dream team scores, 3 points when a Midfielder position player scores, and 2 points when a Forward position player scores. I’d like to tag all of JordanPlanet soccer fans males and females to join the predictions contest, even if it was just for fun by writing about it in your blog, so we can see who’s the best predictor among the planet when the world cup is all over, and who knows, someone among JordanPlanet bloggers might win a Peugeot 307, 207 or one of Al Ghad’s prizes for the contest. I’m putting my hopes up on Brazil to win their 6th world cup with Ronaldinho, and on Holland to stop being unlucky.
P.S. Al Ghad’s Dream Team Contest website doesn’t work on Mozilla Firefox.

And here’s my dream team for Germany’s World Cup 2006:

Forwards: Ronaldo(Brazil), Ron Van Nistelrooij(Holland)
Midfielders: Micheal Ballack(Germany), Zenedine Zidane(France), Frank Lampard(England), Mark Van Bommel(Holland)
Defenders: Roberto Carlos(Brazil), Alessandro Nesta(Italy), Sergio Ramos(Spain), Roberto Ayala(Argentina)
(By the way, it has to be a 2-4-4 formation)

A magician never loses his touch!

Milan 90’s team is back!

What a night it was, yesterday night was definitely a special night!
I was watching Albertini’s farewell celebrity match which was held at Milan’s San Siro stadium on TV.
Albertini’s fellow team mates played vs. Barcelona’s dream team.
Albertini said that he doesn’t want to think about the last time he will touch the green rectangle, it was fun watching him score his last goal, yet one of his most beautiful goals from a free kick, but it was sad as well watching him waving goodbye to the 35,000 spectators.

The match brought together former Milan greats, including Marco van Basten, Ruud Gullit, Frank Rijkaard and Franco Baresi, with members of the current Milan and Barcelona sides, such as Andriy Shevchenko from Milan and Ronaldinho & Eto’o from Barcelona.

Take a look at some snapshots from yesterday’s dream night and if you missed Marco van Basten’s amazing goal then you’ve missed a lot!! Really, a magician never loses his touch!

The 80 minutes match ended 4-2 for Milan by the way.

Best Goal in History!

03.01.06

I know alot of people may have other opinion & that is natural, but I believe my self that this goal for Marco Van Basten is the best goal in history. Van Basten will stay as a unique legend to a vast majority of people (including myself :)) because he was making the match a real sensefull enjoyment. His perfect plays were unpredictable, fast, accurate & lovely. I really wished he had better luck while he was a player & I really wish the ORANGE (Holland: My Favourite team 4ever) the very best in World Cup 2006 with their Coach Marco Van basten.

Below is an embbed from Google Video to Van Basten Goal, the best goal in history!
